What is Astigmatism?
Astigmatism is a refractive error of the eye in which images focused on the retina are distorted or "blurred", often leading to headaches.

Eyes

Symptoms:
Headache or Blurred Vision.

Treatment:
Conventional treatments include correction with glasses or contacts. Surgical options available include Astigmatic Keratotomy (AK, a variant of the commonly-known Radial Keratotomy (RK)). Self-treatment options include Orthokeratology, a process in which the curvature of the cornea is reshaped through a series of contact lenses.
